Keli is an elite gymnastics coach who has worked with youth and junior categories for over 12 years, and with senior and elite categories for over 6 years. As a coach, she trained with the Brazilian National Team and participated in major international competitions around the world, including the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Coach with three World Championship medals: Floor Silver 2001, All Around Bronze 2007 and Vault Bronze 2010 More than 20 medals in World Cups – 11 medals at Pan American Games Graduated in Physical Education in 1994 Postgraduate in Sports Training 2004 Master’s degree in performance Physiology 33 years as a high-level coach

Nicolas has over a decade of experience coaching gymnastics in Brazil and Canada. His training sessions are designed to cultivate both physical and mental prowess, aiming to foster resilience and self-assurance among gymnasts. He believes in the enduring impact of the values learned through gymnastics, which extend well beyond the gym.

Isabella De Sordi

Isabella De Sordi

Xcel Team Director

Isabella brings over 13 years of gymnastics experience, along with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. She began her career competing as a gymnast for nine years before transitioning into coaching. She has led her teams to multiple medals at the Brazilian National Championship. Beyond coaching, she has also worked as a state judge and played a significant role in promoting gymnastics development in São Paulo.

Martina Castro

Martina Castro

Devo Program Director

Martina is an International Gymnastics Federation Certified Coach and International Gymnastics Federation Judge. She competed as an international elite gymnast at five World Championships and was a World Cup finalist. She has 19 years of gymnastics coaching experience. Martina is a USA Gymnastics certified judge and holds a degree in Communications.

Ninja Program Director

Coach Clarence can often be found in the ninja area, where he serves as the Ninja Director. In addition to overseeing this area, he also coaches recreational gymnastics and pre-team Xcel classes. His coaching career at AAGA started from his hobby of breakdancing. After a few years, he developed a passion for coaching and decided to pursue it as a career. His favorite aspect of coaching is witnessing kids gain confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals.

Barbara Pereira

Preschool Program Director

Barbara grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and received a physical education degree from University Gama Filho. Coach Barbara has been working with gymnastics for 32 years and has experience in Brazil, Canada, and the USA! Her mission is to make kids happy and more confident.

Samantha Van Dusen

Samantha Van Dusen

School-Age Program Director

Samantha was raised in Sioux Falls, and graduated from Harrisburg High School. After graduation, she discovered her passion for teaching children. She started at AAGA as a recreational gymnastics coach, focusing on making her classes both fun and educational. She is now the director of the program, putting a lot of effort into teaching skills and ensuring that all children feel welcome and valued. Samantha is committed to providing fun and exciting classes for all students interested in gymnastics.

Orlando Santanna

Orlando SantAnna

Trampoline & Tumbling Program Director

Orlando holds a degree in physical education and sports from Brazil and a postgraduate degree in Artistic Gymnastics, in addition to several technical specializations and sports training courses. He began working with gymnastics in 1989 and has helped train numerous gymnasts for the Brazilian team. During the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Orlando was responsible for one of the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics training areas, where he observed the training sessions of teams from the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil, China, and others.

Mandy Farris

Mandy Farris

Office Manager

Mandy started at AAGA in November of 2022 as a preschool and recreational school-age coach before transitioning into the role of full-time office manager. She has always loved the sport of gymnastics since her childhood, and now, she has a daughter who is on the DP competitive team. Mandy enjoys working with and getting to know all the different families that come through their doors each week, and she has gained the affectionate title of "Gym Mom" among the team girls.
